Maggie's Story

Maggie is a scrappy, independent, and high-energy 3 year old girl. She is looking for a family who understands the joy of a dog who is active, engaged, and always up for an adventure.

Playtime is Priority: This girl is a toy connoisseur! She considers herself an expert in all things squeaky and throwable. Her absolute favorite activity is a rousing game of fetch, where she can show off her speed and dedication. If a toy is involved, Maggie is in heaven, and she absolutely deserves to be spoiled with a never-ending supply of durable treasures and fun outings!

She is already proving to be a bright and capable student. She is doing very well with her potty training though has the occasional accident she is quick to pick up new routines. Her independence means she sometimes likes to figure things out for herself, making her perfect for an owner who loves to engage in positive reinforcement and enrichment activities.

This sweet girl would thrive in a home that appreciates a dog with zest and provides plenty of outlets for her high energy, whether through long walks, secure yard playtime, or engaging training sessions. She promises a lifetime of loyalty, laughter, and irresistible fetch sessions!

Her adoption fee is $400. Applications at www.midwestsmallbreedrescue.org

Midwest Small Breed Rescue's Adoption Policy
Hello future adopters! If you find a pet you would like to apply for, please submit an application. One of our adoption representatives will be in contact if your application seems like a good fit. Once an application is screened, a representative will do a vet check to make sure your current and previous pets were taken care of. Once that is completed, a landlord check is often completed if you are renting. Provided that is properly screened, a representative will schedule a meet and home visit for the prospective pet.
