Maggie's Story
Here comes the tomboy of your dreams, Maggie! This crazy girl is all about rough and tough play, rolling in the dirt, and never letting a water bowl stay full and clean. She's known as the official bowl digger here at CGHS, whether it's in the yard or in her own run, Maggie never fails to let us know she's the definition of water dog. When she's not trying to swim in puddles, she loves to play tug with toys, try to get workers to wrestle her like a dog, and she does love a good long walk. Even though she has a wild side, Maggie does know some tricks and is pretty respectful about waiting to get her leash clipped on.

Maggie would do best with someone looking to do the full works of training, she definitely has some old puppy habits she needs to break. She has been tried with other dogs and seems to do well with playful young male dogs who don't mind what a vocal player she can be. She would be a fantastic candidate for someone who spends a ton of time around water, she loves to dig in water bowls, splash around in kiddie pools, and even try to catch the water straight from the hose. Maggie comes in around 65lbs and can sometimes be a puller or try to play on leash so walking manners will be a must.

Maggie has lots of energy to spend and really could make a great companion for someone wanting a playmate for their current dog. She can come on strong but is a very funny and sweet girl when you give her a chance! Come down and see if this girl is the water activity buddy you've been missing in life!

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/
