Maggie's Story
Rescue story:
Meet Maggie! This gem of a dog was rescued when she was just a few weeks old. Maggie and her littermate were anonymously dropped off at a shelter in Korea when they were weeks old. She is now being fostered in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada.
:
Age: 1 years old
Sex: Female
Weight: 9.5lbs
Breed: Jack Russell/Papillon mix
Housetrained: Yes
Separation Anxiety: No
Good with dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Energy level: Medium to High
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinated: Yes- DHPPL, rabies, kennel cough, coronavirus, and influenza
Medical issues: None
Adoption Fee: $750

Maggie is a delightfully adaptable dog who quickly makes herself at home wherever she goes! She attaches to humans quickly. This beautiful girl is an enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky pup with boundless energy and an appetite for adventure.

Whether exploring a new hiking trail, learning tricks, or snuggling on the couch after a day of play, Maggie approaches life with tail-wagging enthusiasm. She is looking for an active household that can also provide her with cuddle time at home.

Miss Maggie may be small in size, but she has a BIG personality and lots of charm. She knows commands such as sit, stay, twirl, and high five. She enjoys her walks immensely, especially her first walk of the day. She may pull at first due to excitement but settles quickly.

Meeting new furry friends is a fun pastime for her! She greets other dogs well but may get scared around overly enthusiastic dogs who don't give her space. She has lived with children and cats in her foster home without issue.

Maggie loves to sleeps with her humans in bed. She is able to sleep in a crate throughout the night, however. She is an expert at traveling in the car but does drool at times, especially when in a carrier.

Despite her breed, she is not a problematic barker. She only barks upon people entering the home and it's short lived. Loud noises can spook her so having a quiet household is preferable for her.

Type of home we are looking for:
Maggie would do best in a quiet home with family members who are home often. She will require a home that will be able to exercise her often and keep her engaged as she is a very intelligent dog. We would prefer a home with a yard.

If you would like to apply for Maggie, please visit our website pawpackdogrescue.com. If your application is chosen as the best fit, you will receive a phone call to go over the adoption process and set up a meet and greet. Please note that home checks are required for all applicants.
