Maggie's Story

Maggie is a 2 year old Border Doodle who came to us after she had puppies and was listed on Facebook. We wanted to make sure this lady got everything she needed in the means of medical care, time, attention and training. She is currently a little over 50 pounds and we don't anticipate she will grow, but may put on a few more pounds. She is a very sweet dog and is learning some basic tricks with her foster family. We do think she has been abused or hurt by small children in the past as she is very afraid of the youngest child in her foster home. She is fine with the 3 older boys once she was around them a day or 2. She does walk on a leash, is good in a vehicle as long as she isn't trying to help you drive, loves toys and chew bones and is just really adapting to indoor living. She was positive for Lyme disease, so she is currently going through the antibiotic treatment for that and will be spayed prior to going to her new family. Another thing we love about Maggie is that she has the good doodle hair! This is the kind you can brush all the way through and it doesn't get matted and pelted up under the top layer. If you are interested in Maggie, please email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application.
