She's affectionate, lively, and happiest when she's part of the action or curled up close to her person.<br/><br/>Magdalena is fearful of men and will bark or growl when unsure, so she's looking for a home without men or with a very patient and understanding man willing to take things slowly. Any men in the household must meet her at the shelter. She also guards treats from people and toys from other dogs, so she should live with kids 12+ who respect her boundaries. We are often helping other clients when you call, but we return voicemails and emails within 24 hours.<br/><br/>**Holds are not available for puppies under six months, on Saturdays, or during adoption events.<br/>--------------------------------------------<br/>All adult dog adoption fees include;<br/>-spay/neuter<br/>-rabies and kennel cough vaccinations<br/>- heartworm test<br/>-current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian)<br/>-microchip implanted & registered to adopter<br/>-treatment of fleas & ticks<br/>-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin<br/>-free vet exam within 30 days of adoption with participating veterinarians<br/>Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your pet.
