Magda is a beautiful, pointy ear pittie mix who despite her sunny disposition has not had a life of rainbows and sunshine. She came into the shelter as a stray with scarring around her neck from a previously embedded collar. Ending up in the shelter was the best thing that happened to her...she was adored there and they worked so hard to find a rescue to take her. It's impossible not to fall in love with her. From her silly wiggles, her smile when she gets a butt scratch, her joy at racing around the yard with her dog pals, and her champion snuggle skills, Magda is a heart stealer. She is excellent with other large breed dogs and loves to play with them. She would love a playful canine companion in her new home though she loves people just as much. Typical to bully breeds, she can be a bit mouthy when she plays but is learning that toys are for mouthing and to contain her happy exuberance. She has a higher prey drive so needs a home without cats, small critters, or small/toy dogs...they look too much like little rabbits and squirrels to resist chasing and getting rough with them. Walks rank high on her favorite things and she is learning her leash manners. Magda is housetrained (though expect transition accidents like any dog), crates well for the workday, and is learning basic commands. She is extremely eager to learn and loves to hear what a good girl she is. She would be the star of an obedience class for sure!

Requirements: Home with yard space. No cats

Adoption Fee: $450 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives
