Maewyn--Adoption Pending

My name is Maewyn and I am a 4-year-old girl looking for a furever home. I have moved around a lot recently and just want a permanent place to call home. I love to burrow in my favorite blanket in my kennel when there is not a good lap to hang out on. I am potty trained once I get to know the new routine and if taken out on a good schedule. I am good with other dogs, and I have no issues with others around my food or toys. Because of my nature, my foster Mom thinks I would be good with kids as well. I am a typical dachshund, and I like to bark when people come around, but I warm up fast to people because I love attention. I am a good walker on leash and really enjoy going for walks. They are spayed and or neutered, have been fecal tested and heartworm tested, and had a dental cleaning if necessary. They are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative as needed in rescue. They all will have a microchip that will be registered in the adopter's name and is good for a lifetime with no additional fees. <br/><br/>The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home inspection, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for all our dogs is $400.<br/><br/>We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs do not require a fence, if they can walk well on harness and leash. This is decided by what is best for each dog individually.) <br/><br/>We are willing to adopt to out-of-state applicants, but you must travel to the foster home location of your dog which is in Omaha or within a 90-minute drive from the Omaha area to meet and travel home with your dog.
