Meet Mae!<br/>Mae is a 1-year-old Shepherd/Kelpie mix with the sweetest, most curious soul. She was brought to us by Wapato City Animal Control after being caught in a dog trap — a scary experience for such a gentle girl. It’s clear that Mae hasn’t had much exposure to people before, and it’s been heartwarming to watch her discover the world one new experience at a time.<br/><br/>At first, Mae wasn’t sure what to think of kind hands or tasty treats — both were brand-new to her. But now she’s learning that pets, belly rubs, and snacks are pretty wonderful things! Despite her shy beginnings, Mae’s confidence grows a little more each day.<br/><br/>Mae is still so young, almost a puppy herself, but she’s already had a litter in her past. Now it’s her turn to be cared for and loved. You can visit us in person, give us a call, or apply online—whatever works best for you.
