She stays in her crate until I come out in the morning and then she wiggles from head to toe! We then go outside. I live in an apartment building, so she meets many
of my neighbors and again, is all wiggling and greets everyone. Once she does her thing outside in the morning, she is good for the day. It doesn't get much easier than that.. She doesn't usually play with toys. She would rather snuggle up with me on the couch
to watch tv. She likes to look out the window, but never barks, she just watches. She is a bit overweight, but when I am home, we go outside for walks to get the mail and exercise. She rides great in the car and is very patient while I run into the store to
get something. Please consider Mae to be a part of your family. She is AWESOME!

11/14/25-Mae is a great house guest. She is very good on the leash, very laid back and walks with me. She knows what no means. She sits on her own when there are treats involved. She goes go up the 17 stairs in my apartment fine. She will not go down the stairs yet to go out, but that is a lot of stairs! Lol I take her down in the elevator. She gets right in and sits until the door opens again. She is crate trained, I tell her to go in and she does. She doesn't want to, but she goes right in. Her favorite spot though is the comfy couch. She sees the other dogs in the complex and never barks, just watches them. She is very social and meets the other people living here. They all pat her and talk to her. She loves it. I'm still trying to get a good schedule that works for us. I'm sure her world was turned upside down when she came here, but all in all, she is doing well and happy to be here. It has only been a week, so a work in progress. This girl is a sweetheart & deserves a great home & she is ready to go.

11/8/25-Due to some family changes, Mae was alone for long periods of time. Her owner sent her to us to find a home that could give a social life as she is very outgoing. Mae arrived a little while ago thanks to her transport volunteers. She took a walk around outside when we got home, then we came inside. She had a drink and snack and checked out the place. She had a nap and is investigating some more. She jumped out of the car and did ok on the stairs. She is one happy go lucky girl.

11/7/25-Mae is a sweet 7 year old boxer owner surrender that is coming into rescue tomorrow. Her owner had a change in circumstances at home & she was being left very long days. He felt she deserved a home with more time for her as she is still active for her age. She lived with an older make boxer & was good with him & also good with kids of all ages. She is about 10 lbs overweight but otherwise a healthy girl. Once we get to know her better she will be ready for her new home.
