Meet Madrina!<br/>~ 5 months | Rottweiler • Cattle Dog Mix | Social Butterfly | Boarding-Kennel Favorite<br/><br/>Madrina may not have any German Shepherd in her, but don't tell her that—she's just as smart, loyal, and loving as they come! Madrina and her siblings came into rescue from a rural Southern Illinois shelter that was sadly planning to euthanize them due to space. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in, and these pups have been growing up safe, loved, and oh-so-social at a local boarding kennel ever since.<br/><br/>Personality:<br/>Madrina is a happy, wiggly girl who loves everyone she meets—kids, adults, other dogs, and especially anyone who comes with treats or wants to play. She's had lots of exposure to new people and environments, so she's confident, curious, and excited to be part of whatever family fun is happening.<br/><br/>Energy & Training:<br/>At about 5 months old, she's in that “show me the world!” phase. She's playful, food-motivated, and eager to learn. With a little structure and routine, she'll pick up house manners in no time. She would do great in a home that enjoys walks, yard play, or just everyday adventures.<br/><br/>Why She's Special:<br/>• Super social and people-friendly<br/>• Dog-friendly and would love a dog sibling (but doesn't require one!)<br/>• Sweet, affectionate, and loves to snuggle<br/>• Brave, outgoing, and ready to explore<br/><br/>Madrina has already overcome a hard start in life—and now she's ready for the best part: a family of her very own.
