MADISON's Story
Contact the foster at, ddavis716@yahoo.com Meet Madison, a three-legged dog who is ready for a fresh start and a forever family to call her own! After bravely undergoing a leg amputation, she has shown just how resilient and determined she is. She gets around wonderfully and doesn't let anything slow her down. She is fully house broken and sleeps in her crate at night. She's also independent and can happily self-entertain with her toys. She absolutely loves car rides, and enjoys leisurely walks where she can explore at her own pace. She loves to curl up with people for a nap, or lay at our feet while we work. While she has so much love to give, she will need a patient and understanding family who can help her continue building confidence. New environments and unfamiliar situations can make her nervous, and she is sometimes barrier reactive. She would be happiest in a calm home without young children. Because she is uneasy around other animals, she would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can feel safe and secure without added stress. Although she prefers to not have dogs in her space, she is not typically reactive to dogs she sees while on walks. Madison is not a fan of cats and should be in a cat-free home.
