Madison's Story

Madison is in a foster home located in Ft Worth TX<br/>Transport arranged post adoption<br/><br/>We at Abby Road Rescue and sister rescue Furry Sidekick Rescue are honored to be working alongside Karen Perl, who has worked tirelessly to save dogs in need. While these dogs are not directly in our rescue care, we are courtesy posting on her behalf to help them find the loving homes they deserve. <br/><br/>Application is required. Copy and Paste <br/>https://forms.gle/Qrp8LB91kAhKjawP6 <br/><br/>Madison is a 6 yo spay female Pyrenes mix weighing around 65lbs. This sweet shy girl was dumped after being used as a breeding machine by her owner. This sweet girl was left outside to fend for herself and ended up left at a high kill shelter. Nope- we pulled her out and got her spay and heartworm treated. She did great with treatment without any complications and is not heartworm negative. <br/>This sweet baby does not need a crate she is so perfectly behaved that she stays out all day in my home without any issues. She is potty trained and knows her commands. She can be very shy upon first meeting but when she warms up her favorite thing is belly rubs! She rides well in the car no anxiety. She is cat friendly and dog friendly. She gets along with both male and female dogs and large, medium, and small dogs. She is super sweet and super loving. <br/>She likes a calm home no chaos or loud screaming people. Children are okay as long as they are calm and not screaming high energy children as that will scare her. Madison is a dog that enjoys walks or time in the yard but only for short periods of time. She prefers to be an indoor dog probably because of her previous crummy owners that left her outside all the time! <br/>This gal is the sweetest, calm, and quiet female pyronese I have ever fostered. Her ideal home can be with a single person, couple, or family with calm children. She just loves to be with her people and chill out with you on the couch with goodies and a good movie. Could you be her forever home?<br/><br/>On behalf of Karen Perl, the adoption fee is $350. Transport can be arranged after the adoption is finalized. If you prefer to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee will remain the same. Thank you so much for your valuable support in helping these dogs find loving homes.

Abby Road Rescue Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Submitting your application – that's Step 1 Step 2: Group Text Introduction We’ll start a group text chat with the dog’s foster or rescuer. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and get to know more about the dog. If you'd like, we can also set up a video meet-and-greet through our phones for a more personal connection. Step 3: Virtual Home Visit We'll schedule a Google Meet or FaceTime call to virtually tour your home. We'll need to see common living areas and the yard—no need to show bedrooms. Please have a piece of mail with your address visible during the call. After this step I will call your references. Step 4: Adoption Contract Once everything checks out, I’ll submit your application to the board along with my recommendation for approval. While the final decision is up to them, they typically go with my recommendation. Step 5: Final Details This step includes a conversation about ownership, adoption fees, any applicable deposits, and transport arrangements (if needed) could be 5-30 days depending on time frame.
