Madisen is a small mixed-breed female, approximately 2 years old and 28 lbs. She is spayed, heartworm negative after completing treatment, currently on heartworm prevention, and up to date on vaccines.<br/><br/>Madisen is sweet, gentle, and loving. She is friendly with both people and other dogs and enjoys having canine companions to play with and spend time around. Her experience with cats is currently unknown.<br/><br/>Madisen’s journey has not been an easy one. She became a mom during her first heat and raised six puppies. When her puppies were only about 3 weeks old, Madisen and her babies were abandoned along a highway. Somehow, she continued caring for her little family through it all. Her puppies have since found homes, and now it is finally Madisen’s turn.<br/><br/>After being saved from a high-intake shelter where her future was uncertain, Madisen is ready to leave her difficult past behind and find the forever home she has always deserved.<br/><br/>She is looking for a loving family who will give her a safe place to settle in, plenty of affection, and the chance to simply enjoy being a dog. <br/><br/>After everything Madisen has done for her puppies and everything she has been through, we think it is finally time for someone to choose her.
