Maddy's Story

*Maddy will be ready for adoption on Saturday, March 21.*

Meet Maddy! This adorable little pug is full of charm, wiggles, and affection. Maddy is happy, social, and incredibly people-focused, with a personality that seems to revolve around making friends and handing out kisses. If you’re nearby, you can expect a tiny shadow and a very enthusiastic greeting.

Like most pug puppies, Maddy has a playful and curious side but is just as happy settling in for a cuddle once the day’s adventures are over. She loves being close to their humans and enjoys being included in everyday life — whether that’s relaxing on the couch, supervising whatever you’re doing around the house, or hopping in the car for a ride. With such a sweet, easygoing temperament, Maddy could fit nicely into many different kinds of homes, including families, singles, or homes with other pets.

If you’re looking for a small companion with a big heart and a natural talent for snuggles, Maddy may be your perfect match.

*A quick note about the breed: Pugs are a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed, which means they can require some breed-specific care as they age. This may include routine dental care, monitoring for breathing sensitivity in heat or strenuous exercise, and regular vet checkups to keep them feeling their best.*

Maddy is a 2-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $1500 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and spay. Maddy is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. She is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).

For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned.

Thank you for choosing adoption!
