<p>Greetings. My name is Maddy and I am a purebred long-haired Dachshund. I was given up when my elderly owner passed away and no one else could care for me. The first couple of days were pretty rough for me but I am adjusting more every day. I am used to being spoiled in a home so shelter-life just isn't working for me. The person who dropped me off didn't know a lot abotu me so the staff doesn't know if I have ever been around other animals or kids. I did well on my temperament test and&nbsp;they think I'd be happiest in an adult home. I am estimated to be about 5-6 years of age.</p>
