German Shepherd lovers, act quickly! Lovely Maddie arrived at our shelter as a stray. She has proven to be bright, happy, and so smart. She greets us with enthusiasm and desire to play. She loves running in our play yard with her shelter mates. <br/><br/>Maddie is in her prime at about 2-3 years old. She weighs about 70 pounds and has a beautiful healthy coat. She has been friendly to all people, young and old, that she has met. When taken into our cat room, she was very cautious, almost fearful, of them. <br/><br/>True to her breed, Maddie will learn the rules of the household and good manners quickly when in a loving, secure environment. She will require room to run and lots of human interaction. She will be faithful and want to please her person or people. Her spay expenses are fully covered at Boonesboro Animal Clinic in Winchester, KY. If you prefer to have her surgery done at a different location, we can apply part of her adoption fee to her surgery expenses. <br/><br/>The shelter accepts cash and checks. Credit card, Pay Pal, or Google Pay transactions can be made through a QR code to the shelter. The QR code payment will add a $5 fee. <br/> <br/>We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
