Maddie

Maddie is a big, beautiful puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! She's playful, loving, energetic, curious, cuddly, and incredibly affectionate. She loves her people, playing with other dogs, treats, cuddles, and pretty much anything fish-related-fish toys and fish-flavored treats are definitely her favorites!<br/><br/>Maddie can be a little intimidated by men at first and tends to warm up more quickly to women. She thrives in a calm, patient environment where she can take her time building trust.<br/><br/>As a puppy, Maddie is still working on potty training and needs to go outside about every 2-3 hours. (She's still honing her potty skills, so she may have an occasional accident indoors if she doesn't get enough potty breaks--but she'll get there!). She also doesn't love being left alone and may cry for a few minutes when first crated, so she'll need patience and consistency as she learns to be more comfortable being crated/left alone.<br/><br/>Maddie would do best in a house with a securely fenced backyard. She loves grass, needs room to run and play, and would not be a good fit for an apartment. With her size and energy level, Maddie will need a home that can provide her with several good walks a day and time to run around and get her zoomies out.<br/><br/>Her ideal home will provide lots of love and cuddles, consistent training and boundaries, plenty of exercise, and a calm environment. She can be a bit of a boundary-pusher, so a family willing to be patient and consistent with her training is a must. Puppy-safe chew toys are also important-they help her relax and keep her busy.<br/><br/>Maddie is a sweet, energetic girl looking for someone who will give her the structure, affection, and patience she needs to grow into an amazing companion.
