Madam Mim's Story

Meet Madam Mim!

The name says villain. Every single person who has met her says angel.

Madam Mim is a white and fawn mixed breed with big dark eyes, a smile that stops people mid-stride, and a pink harness she wears like she was born in it. She is house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats. She came to us with her litter, and one by one her siblings found their people — their backyards, their couches, their forever families. Madam Mim has been cheering them on from the sidelines in her pink harness, being completely and utterly perfect, waiting for her turn.

Our volunteers spent a Saturday with her recently and came home with one question none of us could answer: how is she still here? She smiled at strangers. She charmed every single person in the room. She looked up at people with those big dark eyes like she was quietly taking applications and evaluating each candidate very seriously.

She is the last one. The last of her litter still waiting. And she deserves someone who sees that face and thinks — that is my dog. That has always been my dog.

The position of Madam Mim's person is still open. We have a feeling the right candidate is out there.

Adoption Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TGD/Dog
