He currently weighs 65 pounds and is expected to grow to at least 100 pounds, potentially reaching 140 pounds at maturity.<br/><br/>The Dogo Argentino is a powerful, purpose-bred working dog developed from the Córdoba Fighting Dog, Great Dane, Spanish Mastiff, Pyrenean Mastiff, and Dogue de Bordeaux. This is not a breed for first-time dog owners. Dogos were bred to protect humans and hunt wild boar, and they require confident, experienced handling.<br/><br/>Mac is seeking an adult-only home with proven experience in protection or guardian breeds, such as Mastiffs, Boerboels, Cane Corsos, or similar.<br/><br/>Despite their strength, Dogos are known for being:<br/>• Extremely loyal<br/>• Loving and people-oriented<br/>• Intelligent and stubborn<br/>• High prey drive<br/><br/>Mac is currently at a critical developmental stage and will need a handler who provides clear structure, strict boundaries, and consistency.
