Mack's Story
You must live in the Pacific Northwest to adopt a Boston Terrier through BTRWW. Please go to btrww.org, click to adopt, print the application, fill it out and email it back to btrww23@gmail.com. Our dogs go to families that can best meet that dog's needs.

Meet Mack – Your New Best Friend with a Big Personality!

Mack is a one-year-old Boston Terrier who came to Boston Terrier Rescue of Western Washington as a stray, so his early history is a mystery. What we do know is that he’s a healthy, happy, and endlessly entertaining guy who is ready to find his forever home.

Mack weighs in at a sturdy 28 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. He has had his injured right eye removed. He’s house-trained and knows how to use a dog door like a pro. He already has some great manners, he comes when called, knows how to sit, and walks nicely on a leash. Mack would really enjoy continuing his education by attending an obedience class with his new family, which would also be a wonderful way to bond. He’s eager, smart, and ready to please.

This goofy boy loves people and is a true snuggle champion. One of his favorite places to be is right next to his human. When he’s not cuddling, Mack is busy being playful and silly. He adores his toys, loves chewing on elk antlers, and is learning to play fetch. He’s also perfectly capable of entertaining himself when needed. Add in his love of sunbathing, and you’ve got a dog who knows how to enjoy life.

Mack gets along well with most other dogs and may do especially well with a female canine companion. He would thrive in a home with respectful children over the age of 8, as very young children may be overwhelmed and get knocked over when he is playing.

Like many dogs, Mack has a few dislikes—fireworks are not his favorite, and he strongly prefers not to be confined in a crate. With understanding and patience, he does best in a calm, loving environment where he can feel safe and included.
Mack is a joyful, affectionate, and downright funny big guy who will make you laugh every single day. If you’re looking for a loving companion whose equal parts snuggler, goofball, and best friend, Mack just might be your perfect match.

Mack’s perfect home would include a secure, fenced yard and a family who will love him, include him in daily activities, and invest time and energy into his continued training. He would benefit greatly from an obedience class where he and his adopter can learn together. Mack has a lot of love to give and is ready to share it with someone special. If you’re ready to welcome a goofy, affectionate, and happy companion into your life, Mack is waiting to meet you! If your home is currently full but you’d still like to help Mack and his rescue friends, donations and shares are always appreciated.

Mack’s adoption fee is $450.

Only approved applicants living in the Pacific Northwest will be considered.
