Mack's Story

***Mack is scheduled to attend our upcoming adoption event at Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the May 16-17 weekend. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Mack and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the Rescue's number.***

Mack was found discarded and all alone on the side of a road in the Dublin, GA area. The lady that found Mack gave him temporary housing and care during the required "Stray Hold" period, which would allow for his rightful owner to reclaim him. But, as expected, no one came forward as his owner, so the lady asked for SoCo Rescue's help in finding him a new home.

The first thing we learned about Mack was that he's not shy at all! This young pup loves everyone he meets, wants to become friends immediately and greets everyone with a smile and a tail wag. Mack is full of energy, loves going on walks and exploring every inch of the outdoors that he can. While Mack has made progress with his house, leash and cate training, he will need additional training once in a home.

Mack has received an update on his yearly vaccinations, de-wormings, started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He is also scheduled to be neutered prior to being transported north.
