Mack's Story
Meet Mack, a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix whose personality is just as big as his impressive stature! Named after a Mack truck for his strength, this strong and lovable boy is sure to capture your heart with his striking heterochromia—one blue eye and one brown eye—and his zest for life. Mack is full of energy and loves playing in the yard, especially jumping high to snag bouncy balls, and he’s a big fan of treats, sitting nicely and happily asking for pets when he’s in the mood for affection. Crowned the “belly rub king,” Mack will gladly roll over for love (though fair warning—those belly rubs can spark some spontaneous zoomies!), and he also enjoys staying busy with enrichment like a frozen peanut butter Kong. Mack originally came to us as a stray, so much of his past is unknown, and while he has lived with children and done well with other dogs in doggy daycare, he has shown a strong prey drive toward cats and small animals and has a talent for door-dashing, so a secure, structured home is a must. Due to a reported snapping incident with a child of unknown cause, we recommend a home with no children under 13. Neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, Mack would thrive in a home without small animals and with adopters who can provide the guidance, patience, and love he deserves—if you think you might be the right fit, come meet him at our Perkiomenville location (1059 Sweisford Rd.) or fill out an application on our website.

Montgomery County SPCA
Kennel license 2863
