Mack's Story
Mack is located in central OKLAHOMA.

Hi All, I’m Mack. I’ve not had the easiest life until AFTR took me into foster. I lived outside until the last 3 weeks.

Since then I’ve been working on housebreaking, learning how to relax, playing with other dogs, trying to learn to walk on a leash, reacting to loud & unusual noises, and trusting humans.

I’m a tall boy but as you can see I am all about getting extra groceries to put meat on my bones. I wear a belly band when loose in the house but when I’m crated I never once had a #1 or #2 accident in it!

I have been to the dogtor and have been “full vetted” whatever that means. I do have a few teeth that might need a good cleaning. I don’t really like to go in the yard by myself so my foster Mom, and dog bro and sister, take turns going out there with me.

I’ve heard I’m an easy dog to live with but my foster Mom takes it really slow with me so I can learn and gain confidence. I have been tested with 2 medium sized dogs, I think I would chase a cat because I really hone in on squirrels in the backyard, and I have been around my foster Mom’s 4th grade niece.

If you’re interested in becoming my forever family just know that I will need you to be patient and spend time helping undo the last 9 years and that I really just want a warm, soft place to land and thrive.

I am located in central Oklahoma. If you are interested, please complete an AFTR adoption application.

Applications will be screened and sent to my foster Mom who will be in touch with homes that are a good fit for both of us – you and me.
Apply here: http://www.foxterrierrescue.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=30&Itemid=18
