She’s got attitude, she knows what she likes and doesn’t, and is pretty serious about her daily walks!<br/><br/>The first thing you’ll probably notice about Macie is that she has a gorgeous, super soft brindle coat. It’s thick, soft, and is often admired when she’s out and about! The next thing you might notice is how tiny her ears are, and the vet has confirmed, her ears are super tiny! Macie also has a curly tail and purple spots on her tongue. It’s anyone’s guess where those came from!<br/><br/>Macie prefers to be your one and only pet, but she does enjoy having doggie friends join her on walks. She’ll tell them off if they’re in her face too much though! As long as the dogs give her space, she can be cool with them. She just doesn’t want to share anything (toys, beds, love, affection, etc) with another dog. <br/><br/>Moody Macie, as she’s affectionately called, will make you work for her love. She’s been let down in life repeatedly, starting with losing the only family she knew for her first 8 years. She came back into foster care with a pretty serious skin infection, double ear infections and double ACL tears! All of Macie's medical needs have been addressed, but she continues to have some seasonal allergies and a severe sensitivity to chicken. That just means no chicken in her food or treats!. She's a seafood kind of girl! And since Macie is completely healed from her ACL surgeries, she seems to have a new lease on life and loves going for walks, running around the yard, and chasing tennis balls on a daily basis!<br/><br/>Macie would love to find someone who will dote on her daily, give her space from small children and dogs, and let her sleep wherever she wants…after a walk, of course!<br/><br/>Contact generalinfo@furryfriendsnetwork.com for questions or if issues are encountered with the adoption application or general adoption process.<br/><br/>Foster Homes are desperately needed in order to help more animals like this one.
