If you're looking for the proverbial Velcro Lab, Mac may be your guy! This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate and loves being by your side—unless, of course, there's a new friend to greet or its mealtime!<br/><br/>Mac loves to play fetch and enjoys his toys, but his absolute favorite pastime is getting belly rubs. He is housebroken and has proven he can be trusted to have the run of the house when left alone. He doesn't get into things or destroy anything, and he sleeps happily right beside his foster dad in bed.<br/><br/>Mac gets along well with other dogs and is a very respectful playmate. If one of his four-legged friends tells him he's had enough, Mac takes the correction appropriately and moves on.<br/><br/>He is still working on his leash manners and can pull at times, but he is generally a pleasant walking companion—especially if you're someone who enjoys keeping a good pace! Mac also does well off leash, in a contained area, and has a reasonably consistent voice recall, although continued practice will help make it even more reliable.<br/><br/>And then there's that beautiful coat!
