Mabel walked in with a gentle spirit and a body that has clearly carried too many litters. She is currently in heat and her system is run down. An itchy raw patch on her skin turned out to be a staph infection. She is being treated, but it will take time and consistent care to get her fully healthy.<br/><br/>Once her skin has cleared and her hormones have settled, she will be spayed and finally able to close the door on that chapter of her life.
