Mabel's Story

DOB: 3/25/2026

Mabel and her siblings recently made the journey north from the South, and she's settling into shelter life with the confidence of someone who assumes every person she meets is here specifically to admire her.

Dressed in a sleek black coat, Mabel has mastered the art of looking sophisticated one minute and then sprinting after a toy with complete abandon the next. Balance is important.

Like any young pup, Mabel approaches life as a series of exciting opportunities. A crinkly leaf? Fascinating. A squeaky toy? Groundbreaking. A lap that suddenly appears nearby? Clearly, the best seat in the house.

She's part of a family that seems dedicated to spreading happiness wherever they go, and Mabel is proudly carrying on that tradition. Whether she's investigating her surroundings, recruiting volunteers for a game, or settling in for some quality cuddle time, she throws herself into every activity with enthusiasm.

Since Mabel just arrived with Bruno, Grace, and Leigh, we're still discovering all the little details that make her uniquely Mabel. What we've seen so far suggests she's going to have no trouble winning fans.

If you're searching for a four-legged companion who can bring equal amounts of entertainment, affection, and charm into your life, Mabel is ready to schedule an interview.

Mabel's current life philosophy: "Try the toy. Chase the toy. Lose the toy. Find the toy. Repeat as necessary."

The Adoption Fee is $450, which includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, and FELV/FIV testing. Microchip transfer is an additional fee.

**For more information regarding ROAR's adoption policies and procedures, please visit our website at roar-ridgefield.org and select the adopt tab on the home page.
