PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION<br/><br/>MABEL IS CURRENTLY FOSTERED NEAR CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA.<br/><br/>Mabel is a gentle, loving mama dog whose pups were rescued from euthanasia at a small Oklahoma pound. With her babies safe, it’s finally Mabel’s turn to find a home of her own.<br/><br/>She has made incredible progress in foster care and continues to blossom every day. Mabel has mastered indoor stairs after a little coaxing with treats, enjoys neighborhood walks (still learning to walk on a leash), and absolutely loves her new toys—she’ll chase them with joyful energy, sometimes bringing them back and sometimes choosing to frolic like a happy calf in a field.<br/><br/>She is doing wonderfully with potty training, has had no accidents, and lets her foster know when she needs to go outside. She’s a bit of a scaredy cat in the dark and can be jumpy with new sounds, but she observes everything with curiosity. Mabel kennels easily and only cries for a couple of minutes before settling in.<br/>While she likes treats, Mabel seems even more socially motivated—she wants to be near her people, soak up affection, and quietly follow along with household life. She is a sweet, sensitive soul who warms up beautifully once she feels safe.<br/><br/>Mabel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, on monthly preventative, dewormed, and microchipped.
