Mabel's Story
Mabel is a female BC mix/Aussie blend. She is 2 years old,spayed UTD and HW positive. Mabel's owner passed away and no family came for her, so she was left at the Wichita Animal Shelter. She was very shy, scared and shut down there, and wouldn't walk on a leash so they deemed her unadoptable and she was scheduled for euthanasia. She was evaluated by a volunteer who found her to be very shut down, not wanting to interact, but not aggressive in any way. She allowed petting and being carried. Her pre-spay exam showed mild-mod dental tartar but no other abnormalities. She was spayed and given all her immunizations as well as hw, flea and tick preventatives. She is HW POSITIVE.
