For five years, all they knew was sitting in a crate and having babies. When they were no longer “needed,” we were called — and of course we said yes.<br/><br/>Now these two sisters are learning what it means to just be dogs… and they are doing it side-by-side.<br/><br/>Lyric is the braver of the two. She will walk right up to you for pets and love, enjoys attention, and lights up around other dogs. She’s friendly, playful, and ready to bond with her person.<br/><br/>Whisper is more shy. Not feral. Not mean. Just unsure.<br/>She’s still figuring out that hands can be gentle and that life exists outside of a crate. She follows Lyric’s lead everywhere and watches the world carefully before deciding it’s safe. With time, patience, and a calm home, Whisper continues to blossom more every day — and having Lyric beside her makes all the difference.<br/><br/>These girls are very attached to one another and rely on each other for confidence. Where you see Lyric, Whisper isn’t far behind. They sleep together, explore together, and learn together.
