She was so emaciated that the vet felt she couldn’t be pregnant, and needed to gain weight before spay, however she was actually only three weeks from her due date and delivered eleven puppies, ten of whom survived. Poor girl. <br/><br/>She on rare occasion limps for a minute or so after jumping around, perhaps due to an injury being hit by a car after being deserted, but no injury is evident and nothing that the vet was concerned about. Normally she has no issue and runs and plays without any indication of it. <br/><br/>She is UTD on shots, tested negative for heartworm and is currently on a HW preventative, as well as a medication for fleas/ticks/ parasites.<br/><br/> She is a healty weight now.<br/><br/> She knows "sit," allows her nails to be trimmed, and walks on either a leash or a slip lead. She is protective of her humans and home and alert barks.<br/><br/>Ideal home/family lifestyle: would do best in a home with a family with an active lifestyle (hiking, swimming, playing ball).
