LYRA *okay with cats!*

Meet Lyra! <br/><br/>Lyra is a sweet 1-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with the perfect balance of adventure and snuggles. She has a soft, gentle temperament and absolutely loves people, other dogs, and *even cats*. <br/>This girl is crate and housetrained, food-motivated, and a quick learner—making her a blank slate for all the fun training and bonding you’d like to do. She’s still discovering toys, but she’s always up for a cuddle or hug. Lyra has great manners in public, does wonderfully in pet-friendly stores, and is a dream on leash—no reactivity at all. <br/><br/>With her medium energy level, Lyra can happily keep up on long hikes (6+ miles is no problem for her!) but also has an excellent “off switch” at home, making her a versatile companion. She’s even an excellent passenger for paddle boarding! (Though she’s still deciding if swimming is her activity of choice). She rarely barks, travels easily, and handles baths, nail trims, and brushing like a pro. <br/>Lyra would love a home with another playful dog, though she isn’t pushy, and she’s adaptable enough to fit into many different lifestyles.
