LYLA LIU's Story
Lyla does occasionally jump on people especially when she first sees them after a while. She is a Very Happy girl and needs a gentle reminder. She does sit fabulously but still needs a reward/reinforcement on "Down" to get her to consistently do it - she will either do it, go down halfway and then wiggle and prance around playfully, or she will give a play bow and be silly from the get go! She will need a little work , her preferred "Stay" is "Stay RIght Next To You." Lyla needs to be with consistently with someone reliable, she would make a great Emotional Support Animal. Also consider that with specialized training, she could learn a few service dog skills.

Her leash skills are pretty good. We have tried to play fetch with her in the backyard and she will run to it sometimes, then with a big confused grin, run back to me for love and affection. She would love to learn to play but right now, her bigger joy is either being loved on by a person or going and flirting with the other dogs wanting to play.

When rescued, Lyla had 3 babies and was doomed, but with help from the "village", she was saved and She is spayed and vaccinated, and ready for her furever home with someone who loves her as much as she is capable of giving such generous love in return, She is crate trained but loves sleeping on beds and will often happily sleep under the covers. But she soothes herself and may chew on certain pillows, foam ones mainly, but overall does well with being loose in the house and bedroom - just gets into a little trouble if bored and unsupervised for too long. She's not a backyard dog, no dog should be, and Lyla wants to be part of the action.
