Lyla's Story

Meet Lyla

At just 5 months old and 16 pounds, Lyla is currently pint-sized perfection. When she’s fully grown, we expect she’ll land right in that sweet spot of 30 to 35 pounds, big enough for adventures, small enough to fit perfectly on your couch.

Lyla may have been found as a stray, but those days are behind her. She has fully embraced her upgraded lifestyle and is now accustomed to being treated like royalty. She sleeps quietly in her kennel, provided you follow proper protocol: tuck her in and cover her with her blanket. Once wrapped up like the tiny queen she is, she snoozes peacefully through the night.

While she doesn’t require a wardrobe for every season, Lyla absolutely appreciates a cozy sweater on chilly days. Fashion meets function, after all.
Lyla does great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for many types of families. She loves her chew toys and is currently in the very official business of losing baby teeth and growing in her permanent ones. If you see her enthusiastically working on a toy, she’s basically managing dental development.

Lyla is smart and eager to learn. She already knows how to sit, is working on her leash skills, and is house trained. She would prefer a physically fenced yard where she can safely run, explore, and burn off her puppy energy.

If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, slightly pampered pup who brings equal parts sweetness and sparkle, Lyla is ready to rule your heart.

Lyla is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

If you would like to meet Lyla, please complete the adoption application on our website: www.furfunrescue.org.
