Lydia's Story

Meet Lydia!<br/><br/>Sweet Lydia is so unsure of her world. She is around 5 months old. When she got out today she was shaking. We put her in an outdoor run next to Tanner and boy did that work! Tanner is so happy and friendly and Lydia took to him immediately. Her tail came untucked and she even started to leave around and play with him through the kennel! She is less sure of people than she is other dogs, but we think that with a little bit of work, she is going to be a wonderful and very good girl.<br/><br/>By the end of our time together she was exploring her area and although I wouldn't describe her as brave, she was definitely curious!<br/><br/>If you are patient and have some space in your heart and home for a shy girl, come down to Taney County Animal Control and meet Lydia!<br/><br/>For even more photos, videos, and up to date information on our adoptable dogs please follow Voices for Taney County Animals on Facebook.

Taney County Animal Care and Control's Adoption Policy
Your adoption fee of $105 includes the following services: Dogs: 1. Spay/ neuter 2. Heartworm test ( Adult dogs and puppies over the age of 6 months of age when entering the shelter) 3. Rabies vaccination 4. One Distemper/Parvo vaccination (Dogs and puppies receive one vaccination upon entering the shelter. A second vaccination is included in the adoption package. Puppies require a series of 3 vaccinations to be fully immunized, the third vaccination is at the new owner’s expense) 5. Bordetella Vaccination (Dogs and puppies receive one Bordatella vaccination upon entering the shelter. This vaccine is required to prevent kennel cough) 6. Microchip Cats: 1. Spay or neuter 2. Feline Leukemia test ( Branson Veterinary) 3. One FVRCP vaccination (Cats and kittens receive one vaccination upon entering the shelter. A second vaccination is included in the adoption package.
