(They are sisters)<br/>They didn’t take their trust in people.<br/>And they didn’t take their ability to love again.<br/><br/>Today, they are safe in a loving foster home, where they’ve shown us exactly who they are—and exactly how much love they still have to give.<br/><br/>At 9 years old (DNA confirmed), Beth and Lydia are the definition of loyal companions- they are biological sisters from the same litter.<br/><br/>Beth is the independent spirit. She still has a spark—she loves to play, enjoys every moment, and will absolutely light up at the words “car ride” (her favorite thing in the world). She’s easygoing, well-mannered, and carries herself with quiet confidence.<br/><br/>Lydia is your shadow. Your protector. Your heart dog. She is deeply loyal and happiest right beside you—always watching, always loving, always there.<br/><br/>Together? They are perfect balance.<br/><br/>They are:<br/>✔️ Leash trained<br/>✔️ Fully potty trained<br/>✔️ Exceptionally well behaved<br/>✔️ Lovers of walks and long naps on the couch<br/>✔️ Completely bonded—and must stay together<br/><br/>And full transparency… they are currently enjoying their “retirement era” just a little too much 😄<br/>Let’s just say they’re a bit fluffy around the edges and wouldn’t mind a home that includes some gentle walks and maybe slightly fewer snacks (they disagree with that last part).<br/><br/>They don’t need chaos. They don’t need training.<br/>They just need someone to come back for them.<br/><br/>Beth does have mild arthritis in her elbow and takes an inexpensive thyroid medication. Both girls have seasonal allergies—but nothing that stands in the way of a full, happy life.<br/><br/>What they do need is a home that understands commitment—the kind of home that won’t let them wonder ever again why they were left behind.<br/><br/>They gave someone the best years of their lives already.<br/><br/>Now it’s their turn to be chosen again.<br/><br/>We are looking for a home that will love them as family—where they will live safely indoors, together, and be cared for both medically and emotionally for the rest of their lives.<br/><br/>Because dogs like Beth and Lydia?<br/><br/>They don’t get “someday.”<br/><br/>They only have today.
