Meet Lyanna, the low-rider!<br/>Lyanna is a 6 year old spayed female Dachshund mix. She came to us through no fault of her won when her owner had to move states and could not bring ehr along.<br/>When you think Dachshund you might be thinking of a little 20 pound dog, but don't let the breed fool you - this girl is 40 pounds! She isn't severely overweight or anything either, and just seems to be a big girl. Please keep her size in mind if you've been looking for a smaller dog that is more easily handled, as she might not be a good fit then.<br/>Now, Lyanna is just a big old sweetheart. Even though she was a little nervous when she first came in, she was super sweet and would come right up to us. She'll gladly be pet and snuggled with, and we think given time to adjust she will become an adorable little couch potato.<br/>Lyanna has been around dogs, cats, and kids before and did well with them all. So far, she seems to be a chill lady, and doesn't seem phased by much. She does have that signature Dachshund bark, though, and she makes sure her voice is heard! Dachshunds are a breed known for constantly barking, so if you live in an apartment or are looking for a quiet companion, keep in mind that miss Lyanna might be too opinionated for your household!<br/>We've quickly fallen in love with Lyanna, and we know you will too once you meet her!
