Luna (N25-297)'s Story

####
-Vision & hearing impaired and will do best in a patient home with a confident dog to help guide her-

Luna (13 yrs. 7 lbs.) is a Lhasa Apso mix with a big heart and plenty of spirit left to share. She has only one eye, which gives her a unique charm, and she will need a home with another confident, friendly dog who can help guide her and show her the ropes as she navigates her world.

Luna can be a bit standoffish with new people or if approached too quickly, so she does best with those who understand the importance of moving slowly and respectfully. Once she knows you're her person, her playful, puppy-like personality shines through, and she becomes a loving and engaging companion.

Despite her age, Luna still has lots of spark and enjoys being part of daily life. She is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time, support, and gentle guidance she needs to feel safe and confident. With the right family, Luna will reward you with devotion, character, and a joyful spirit.
----------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
