She is a sweet, gentle, 18 lb. girl who just needs the right environment to feel safe and truly shine. <br/><br/>Luna Mae does best in a quiet, calm home. She's looking for a family that will be patient and help her build confidence at her own pace. A secure fenced yard is preferred and she would do best in a home without children. She prefers to be the only dog but may join another dog in the home if that dog is respectful of her space. She has good energy and loves to play with squeak toys and chase her tennis ball. She also loves to cuddle up with her person and enjoy life on a calmer level. <br/><br/>******MEDICAL NOTE******<br/>Luna Mae had successful liver shunt surgery on June 2nd at the University of Wisconsin Veterinary Teaching Hospital and has recovered well at her foster home.
