Luna's Story

Available for adoption - say hello to Luna! At a compact 45lbs, this petite girl is the perfect size for outdoor adventures and couch snuggles alike.

Luna has gone through a lot of changes recently and can be very timid around new people. She seems more comfortable around ladies, but has befriended a few gentlemen here at the shelter too. Once she knows you, she is a total velcro dog. She becomes your shadow and will try to plant herself in your lap, on your feet, or by your side. She will use her nose to nudge you for pets and just loves affection from her people.

She is also extremely playful and goofy. She gets the zoomies like no other and loves to splash around in the kiddie pool.

Luna is about 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. She previously lived with children.

Please DO NOT apply through Petfinder.

If you would like to meet Luna, please reach out! You can stop by the Exeter Animal Shelter with any questions or contact them at either 401-294-2754 / animalshelter@exeterri.gov. The shelter is located at 169 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822.
