Luna is a female golden retriever who, upon being rescued, was immediately taken to the emergency vet. She sustained deep lacerations after jumping a fence due to being startled by fireworks. Her injuries were not only deep but also older and severely infected. Luna required anesthesia for proper wound debridement due to the severity of her condition. Thankfully, she is showing gradual improvement every day.
