Luna's Story
Meet Luna!

Luna was born in early May and is just about full-grown at a lean 35 lbs. She is a pit/husky mix with an athletic build and a gentle soul.

Luna and her siblings had a very rough start to life, with minimal human interaction and barely enough food to survive. Because of this, Luna is understandably timid with people and slow to warm up. That said, her shyness is only with humans. She has zero fear of loud noises, vacuum cleaners, or other dogs.

Once Luna feels safe, her true personality shines. She is incredibly smart, spunky, happy, loving, and playful. She thrives with other dogs and absolutely adores canine companionship. Shes very submissive in play-think belly-up, chin-licking, please play with me energy and could play for hours.

Luna will do best in a home with another dog, both for companionship and to help her continue learning that people are kind and safe. She may also enjoy living with respectful kids who understand her boundaries (no chasing or rough handling).

An ideal home for Luna will have a fenced-in yard-she loves being outdoors and would happily spend her days exploring at her own pace.

Medical note: Luna had corrective surgery in February for a luxating patella (a kneecap that slides out of place). She has fully recovered and the surgery went great.

Luna is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed.
Her adoption fee is $300, payable via Venmo, PayPal (+$10 fee), or cash.

Luna is a truly special girl who just needs patience, love, and a peaceful place to blossom.
