Luna (courtesy post)'s Story

Luna is a stunning, intelligent, and emotionally expressive Siberian Husky (female, spayed, approx. 6 years old, approx. 50lbs) who is looking for a fresh start in a calm, pet-free home where she can feel safe and thrive.

Luna LOVES people and bonds deeply with her humans. She’s silly, vocal, affectionate, and has all the classic Husky quirks — dramatic side-eye, happy zoomies, and a bark that could win an Oscar. She’s also housetrained, leash-savvy (with some occasional sass), and loves going on walks.

But Luna’s journey hasn’t been easy.

After being attacked by another dog while in boarding, Luna developed reactivity toward other dogs. She can no longer live safely in a home with other pets. She has been involved in two incidents where humans were injured only while trying to break up a dog fight — she has no known history of human-directed aggression otherwise.

This is not an easy goodbye.
