Luna's Story

Luna is a special girl. She was surrendered to our shelter several years ago when her owner’s daughter was diagnosed with cancer. She is not good with strangers, other dogs or cats. This has made it hard for Luna to find the perfect home.

She will need a patient adopter who will allow her to settle in and will wait for her to come to them. She is pee pad trained but also enjoys going out to the yard. She walks well on a leash but she would prefer a fenced yard.

Once she is comfortable, she is very affectionate and loves sitting on the couch with her people. She has no tail and the body style of a corgi but has the face of a Pekingese and the personality of a chihuahua. She is an absolute volunteer favorite.

If you are interested in meeting Luna, please submit an application on our website at https://www.rainingcatsanddogsshelter.com/adoption.
