She greets everyone with full body wiggles and an excitement that is hard not to smile at.

She is great at entertaining herself as long as she has toys around, but she does best in a calmer environment since too much stimulation can make her anxious. She has a fun personality with a sensitive side that needs the right balance.

In the Home
Luna thrives on routine and structure. Her home is her safe space, and she's perfectly content being a homebody. She's a true Velcro dog and is happy to follow you wherever you go.

You'll usually find her entertaining herself with her toys or snuggled up next to her people. She enjoys regular walks for exercise and likes exploring the backyard. A few days each week, she's left in her own room while her foster parents are at the office, and she does wonderfully on her own.

With Other Dogs
Luna is not aggressive toward other dogs, but her personality and stimulation levels can be a bit much. She would likely do best as the only dog in the home where she can fully relax and not feel overwhelmed.

With People
Luna loves everyone she meets and doesn't hesitate around new people. On walks, she wags her tail at every person she passes. She even greets the mail carriers with a happy tail wag when they come to the door! She is social, friendly, and eager to connect.

With Kids
Kids can be overwhelming for Luna and may cause her stress. She would do best in a home without children.

Training and Care
Luna is learning basic commands and picking things up quickly. She is improving on leash and working on walking nicely without pulling.

Crate training is still in progress. She tends to do better when given space, like being left in a room, and her foster is working on building positive associations with the crate.

She is mostly potty trained but may have accidents if she becomes anxious and does not have the opportunity to go outside.

Ideal Home
Luna would do best in a calm, structured home with someone patient who is willing to continue helping her build confidence and independence.

She is already making great progress and just needs the right environment to continue becoming her best self.

A Note from the Foster
Luna is a pretty simple girl. She doesn't need fancy adventures or constant activity. As long as she has her people and a basket full of toys, she's perfectly content.

Promise Pup Highlight
Luna shines with people. Despite all she's been through, she still has the biggest, most trusting heart and is always open to love. We know there's a perfect family out there who will cherish her as deeply as she'll cherish them.

The Promise Moving Forward
We promised Luna that we would give her the structure and patience she needs, and we plan to follow through.

Now we are just waiting for the right home that will continue that promise and give her the calm, steady life she deserves.

v
