Meet Luna! This gorgeous 8 month old great dane came to us from a rural shelter. Luna is deaf and vision impaired, making her young life very scary so far. She has not known the love and comfort of a home, and due to her disabilities, has grown up in a scary place with strange smells and little comfort. We scooped this pup right up and promised her a change of fate! Luna is slow to get comfortable, and will need lots of tlc and training to become the best girl we know she can be. She LOVES other dogs and they really help her confidence. Luna began training in a foster home, here's what they have to say:<br/><br/>"She is tentative when meeting strangers, but warms up quick when given space and time to adjust. I started her on hand signal training (pictured) and she's been doing well! She still has some vision, though depending on the light her abilities change. She is a smart and loving girl once she is settled and is sure to thrive with training."<br/><br/>We promised Luna that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life.
