LUNA's Story

Luna is an 8-month-old female Rottweiler mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart, ready to find a home where she can truly thrive. She came into care after her previous owner was arrested and never returned for her, but she hasn’t let that dull her spirit—she remains a happy, energetic puppy eager to connect with people. Luna is easy to leash and walks fairly well, though she does have a bit of that typical puppy pull. She’s full of energy and will need an active home that can provide daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep her feeling her best. As she’s still young, Luna will benefit from continued training and guidance to help her grow into a well-mannered adult dog. She shows interest in other dogs and may do well with a canine companion, but due to her enthusiastic, rambunctious play style, a dog-to-dog meet is required to ensure a good fit. Because she can be a bit much in her puppy exuberance, a home with older, dog-savvy children is recommended. Luna is looking for someone willing to invest the time and love she needs—she has all the potential to become an incredibly loyal and fun-loving companion.
