Luna's Story
Luna is doing great with her foster family, but still looking for her forever! She loves to frolic with other animals and kids but then needs a bit of rest! That does sound exhausting, Luna!! She is doing great managing her osteoarthritis with her special food, injections, salmon oil, and glucosamine. Luna is about 7 years old and is said to be a Beagle/Boxer/Bull Mastiff mix. Luna is in our Senior and Special Needs (SAS) Pet Program which provides financial support to her adopters; read more about that below.

Luna is great with people, kids, dogs, and cats. She loves snacks, butt scratches, belly rubs, cuddles, hugs, AND kisses! Fabulous!

TO ADOPT LUNA:
KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper & Rabies, microchipped, etc.). Luna is in our Senior and Special Needs (SAS) Pet Program, this means that her adoption fee ($350) can be credited towards the veterinary clinic of the adoptive family's choice for any future medical expenses (medications, surgeries, end-of-life, etc.) for her. Luna is a happy girl, but she has hip dysplasia and spinal spondylosis. She will benefit from a Librela injection every three weeks. There may also be additional funds available if needed (up to $650, for a total of $1000). Our adoption process is outlined on our website: www.kpalrescue.org/pet-adoption/, our Adoption Application can also be found on that website.
