Luna's Story

Luna has already done the puppy stage, the potty-training stage, and the "learning how to be a good family dog" stage.

Now? She's just ready to get back to being someone's dog.

Luna was originally adopted from us as a puppy and has spent her life in a home, being loved and cared for. Sadly, her owner moved to Texas and couldn't take her along, so Luna is back with us through no fault of her own.

And while Texas may have been the plan, we think Luna was meant to stay a Louisiana girl anyway. She radiates Cajun, if you ask us. 🤎

Luna is good with cats, kids, and other dogs. She's housebroken, heartworm negative, and already knows how to fit into a routine. She would be a great fit for a first-time dog owner, a family with kids, or someone simply looking for a dog who already knows the ropes.

She still has that fun, playful Lab side too - because Labs are always kids deep down. She's past the puppy chaos, but not past the joy. The best of both worlds, really.

Luna made it out once as a puppy. Now she's back, and we'd love to see her make it out again - this time for good.

This girl deserves the softest place to land. 🐾

🐾 Housebroken
🐶 Good with other dogs
🐱 Cat-friendly
👧 Kid-friendly
🩺 Heartworm negative
🏡 Great for first-time dog owners
🎾 Past the puppy chaos, but still playful Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 68lbs Age: 6yrs 10mths 2wks Animal has been Spayed
