Luna's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Foster or forever home wanted: meet Luna!

Luna is a 3-year-old Labrador mix who’s ready for a fresh start with the right person by her side. After spending most of her early life outdoors and being left behind when her family moved, Luna is finally getting her chance to learn what it means to be part of a home.

She may take a minute to warm up, but once she trusts you, Luna is incredibly sweet and loyal. She’s looking for an adult-only home where she can be your one and only—no other animals, just her person.

Luna isn’t a beginner dog. She’s searching for a working dog–experienced handler who understands structure, boundaries, and giving a dog a purpose. She thrives when she has a job and clear guidance. She already has some training under her belt and knows commands like sit and down—she just needs someone to continue building on that foundation.

She loves toys (maybe a little too much—she can resource guard them in the home), enjoys her walks, and is non-reactive when passing other dogs out and about. She’s also a bit selective with treats—this girl has standards.

Luna has so much potential to be an incredible companion in the right hands. She just needs someone willing to meet her where she’s at and help her become her best self.

If you’re ready to give Luna the structure, leadership, and commitment she deserves, head to www.labradorsandfriends.org to fill out an application.

Luna is located in Southern California.
